Mohammad is a holder Msc in Aviation Safety and is currently the Senior Director Air Navigation & Aerodromes Department at the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority. Responsible for regulating and over-sighting the Air Navigation Services by and Aerodrome Operators. Such responsibility includes but not limited to International Airports, Domestic Airports, Landing area, private aerodromes, Search and Rescue, Air Traffic Services, Air Traffic Management, Aeronautical Information Services, Communication Navigation Surveillance, Aviation Meteorology, Rescue Firefighting Services and Aerodrome Emergency Services, heliports, oil and Gas organisations. 

Mohammad is heavily at the international and regional level representing UAE, and is currently the Vice Chairman of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Air Traffic Management Operations Panel. Mohammad previously held the role of Assistant Director General for Air Accident Investigation in the UAE. He was responsible of the Air Accident Investigation body in the UAE and hence responsible for the implementation of ANNEX 13.
